Falkland-style wool is a blend made up of domestic and imported bright white wool, including wool from breeds such as Corriedale, Montadale, and Columbia. The fiber diameter is 27 microns with a 3 to 4 inch staple length. Best of all, this wool blend is processed into combed top right here in the U.S. Falkland-style wool is a great fiber for beginning as well as advanced handspinners, and is soft enough for most next to the skin garments. This wool is non-superwashed and can be used for felting.
Handwash your finished yarn in cold water using a gentle wool wash like Soak or Eucalan. Hang or lay flat to dry.
