This is a superwashed version of the Shaniko wool that you know and love. Shaniko wool is from Merino/Rambouillet sheep, and this spinning fiber is extra special because it is grown, processed, and dyed entirely in the US. Shaniko wool is so so so soft, making it an excellent choice for next-to-the-skin garments where a resistance to felting is needed.
