The Road to 22 Mile Studio

Hi! I'm Miryha, and I'm excited to share some big news with you.

In 2007, I started my business, Blarney Yarn. After years of growth and evolution, I've been feeling that my original business name no longer captures the full scope of what I create—or what I dream of creating in the future. That's why I'm thrilled to introduce you to 22 Mile Studio.

Why 22 Mile Studio?

I wanted my new business name to honor both my roots and my aspirations. I spent my childhood 22 miles up a winding, two-lane road outside of a small town in central Washington state. My family lived by a river at the base of a mountain—a place that continues to inspire my creative practice to this day.

While spinning yarn remains at the heart of my business, I wanted a name that would give me the flexibility to expand into new ventures, like offering classes in my studio space and exploring other creative avenues.

What's changing (and what's not)

Though my business name has evolved, everything you love about my work remains the same. I'm still the same solopreneur behind this fiber-focused business, dedicated to dyeing the very best fibers for handspinners and makers like you.
