At 20.4 microns, this fiber is oh so soft and has great loft! Our 20.4 micron US Shaniko wool fiber has the softness of Merino wool but with a longer staple length, making it an easier introduction to fine wools for handspinning. \u003c\/span\u003eShaniko wool is an excellent choice for next-to-the-skin garments. This wool is superwashed, making it resistant to felting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHandwash your finished yarn in cold water using a gentle wool wash like Soak or Eucalan. Hang or lay flat to dry.
